One of the largest dredges in the world for the dredging of rocky bottoms with high hardness arrived in the Port of Bari, with CSD technology, built in 2020.
The works to complete the port facilities in the Pizzoli Marisabella area constitute the most important infrastructural work in the port of Bari.  Almost 30 years ago, the first never completed contract was launched due to operational difficulties and contractual problems that led to the contractual withdrawal.
Following a subsequent tender, Fincosit is now carrying out the activities, activating the crucial activity of rock dredging which will allow to relaunch all subsequent works for which the deepening of the seabed is a preparatory work.
