Benedetta Floating Plant – Prefabrication and launch of the first anti-reflective cellular caisson in reinforced concrete.

The first cellular caisson in reinforced concrete was launched and intended for the new anti-reflection quay with a seabed of -12 m lmm in the water mirror in front.
In the last stages of prefabrication of the caisson, n. 30 ferrules for the realization of the foronomies were envisaged in the project. Following solid ballasting carried out during the prefabrication phases and liquid ballasting for the final trim, the cellular caisson was launched with a draft of approximately 8.38 m, complete with minimum equipment for towing navigation up to the existing quay in the proximity of the BENEDETTA floating system.
