Visit by the CEO of Eni Rewind Dr. Paolo GROSSI at the MISP shipyard in the areas outside the Brindisi Petrochemical Plant – MICOROSA. The permanent safety of the MICOROSA landfill involves the construction of a belt with a watertight barrier of areas covering approximately 55 hectares, carried out by means of a plastic diaphragm with an interclosed HDPE sheet and Jet Grouting to overcome interference and clamping with existing works.
The project includes hydraulic engineering works (“panda and Gronda canals”), extraction wells with groundwater transfer to the TAF plant, forest engineering works, with very high environmental and quality standards, in line with the customer’s policy and with the objectives prescribed by the Ministry of the Environment.
The last interference with the power line and gas pipeline, both in operation (Terna and SnamRete Gas), is being resolved using the jet grouting technique with particular caution and tolerances of only 1 mm on the vibrations induced on the gas pipeline detected with electrolines.
